SLBS Encourages Local Companies to Own the Future
In a related venture, the SLBS renewed the license for the use of the Saint Lucia Standard Mark to Paradise Springs and Sunfresh Limited, both bottlers of purified drinking water.
Paradise Springs is into the 12th year of relicensing, while Sunfresh Limited, bottlers of Winfresh H2O-Purified Drinking Water is into the fourth year of the regime.
Both companies have prioritized their re-licensing because they say aside from building consumer confidence in the quality of their product they have seen the development of a culture across all levels of the organization about safety, hygiene and all other issues which may impact on the quality of the final product.
The seal of approval is a contract with consumers that the manufacturer puts its customers at the centre of its product development strategy. It is more than making a product for the public it is ensuring that it far exceeds the customer expectations for quality and safety.
